Welcome to Eat Hampton, a directory and magazine of everything foodie and drink(y) about the Hamptons – going to throw some grocery stores and fish markets in here for good measure as well. Right now we are still gathering data so chill for a second. This is a very ‘beta’ site and concept so any suggestions on how to make it better are welcome, but for now just listing all the restaurants in Le Hamptons seemed like the best idea.
Our goal here is to help people get a better understanding for the great places to eat, drink, and socialize out here in this hell on earth we call the Hamptons (just kidding people, #sarcastic). So get your beach towel, your iphone, a pair of glasses, the latest quarterly reports, the guy/girl you just met at Surf Lodge yesterday and find some good eats.
P.S. for no particular reason (cough, cough, SEO) Here’s what wikipedia has to say about the Hamptons (oh joy; info!):
“The Hamptons are a group of villages and hamlets in the townships of Southampton and East Hampton, which form theSouth Fork of Long Island, New York. The Hamptons form a popular seaside resort, one of the historical summer colonies of the American Northeast. They have some of the most expensive residential properties in the U.S.
The Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, the Montauk Highway, and the Hampton Jitney connect the Hamptons to the rest of Long Island and to New York City, while ferries provide connections to Shelter Island, New Yorkand Conneticut.”
